This lecture explores Dissemination and Implementation (D&I) research, and its focus on improving care by moving evidence-based practices into routine use in global mental healthcare settings. We address the distinction between a treatment intervention versus an implementation intervention and walk through relevant implementation approaches and strategies used in lower resource settings globally. This lecture also covers conceptual models and key implementation science constructs, as well as identifying stakeholders to improve long-term buy-in within organizations.
